We offer a few different ways to print and finish your invitations, depending on the look and feel you’re after.
Letterpress printing is our signature method and where we truly shine. Each piece is hand-pressed on one of our vintage presses, creating a deep, tactile impression where the artwork is debossed into the paper for a beautifully dimensional finish.
Foil stamping is similar in process to letterpress, as the design is pressed into the stock, but instead of ink, a metallic or colored foil is used. This method is especially striking for lighter designs on darker paper stocks.
Embossing uses a male and female die to press the design into the paper, creating a raised, sculptural effect that adds subtle dimension without ink or foil. A similar effect can also be achieved through letterpress printing using a “blind deboss,” where the design is pressed into the stock without ink, creating a recessed impression instead.
Digital printing (also referred to as flat printing) is a print method where the artwork is printed directly onto the surface of the paper without any impression. It’s a clean, modern option that allows for a wide range of color and detail.
