A Styled Elopement in charleston, sc

This styled shoot was dreamed up in collaboration with the Detailed I Do’s team & photographed by Carrie Joy. We were all inspired by the colors found on Charleston’s Rainbow Row and historic elements found around downtown.

Save the Date

Features a modern, graphic typography treatment printed as a blind impression. No ink is applied, so you’re seeing just an impression on the paper stock. We love how classic and elegant it feels!

Info Card

Letterpress inks are transparent, so the paper stock always shows through. To achieve a bright white, we print everything but the text! We printed burgundy ink and the texture you see is from the cotton letterpress stock. The subtle grain of the ink on the paper adds a lot of depth and the bolder color calls your attention to the important details — like dress code & your wedding website!

Envelopes & Seating Cards

Both of these pieces are printed tone on tone: burgundy ink on magenta paper. Your Save the Date envelope is the first peek of your wedding that your guests will see & choosing a bold envelope makes certain it will stand out in the mail. We used the same technique on the name cards to tie it back into a day of piece.

Finishing

We love a ribbon around here & left to our own devices will always throw one in! It made sense to tie this all together with a punch of color in the form of hand-torn silk! A ribbon is a beautiful detail that also serves a practical purpose if your suite has a few cards.
